The People’s Union is spearheading a effort to let corporate America know that a large portion of the population is not happy with the way they are bending the knee to the Trump administration while exploiting those of us who aren’t in the 1%.

They are proposing a 24 hour Economic Blackout on February 28th from midnight on the 27th to midnight on the 28th. Go to their website to learn more and support the effort, but here is the gist of it:

WHAT NOT TO DO:

Do not make any purchases

Do not shop online, or in-store

No Amazon, No Walmart, No Best Buy

Nowhere!

Do not spend money on:

Fast Food

Gas

Major Retailers

Do not use Credit or Debit Cards for non essential spending

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

Only buy essentials of absolutely necessary

(Food, Medicine, Emergency Supplies)

If you must spend, ONLY support small, local businesses.
